Hello can someone please please help me as soon as possible? My site just went down as I tried to add code for the facebook widget in the appearance editor part of the website.
You can call me, email me, whatever—i just launched tonight and my site is down! Please help ASAP!!!!!!!

This issue has been resolved by a super duper wordpress expert in another forum. Thank you all so much anyway.

@amyfanton: Oh sorry for the late reply and it’s great that you have fixed the issue.

I see that you are modifying the core theme files directly. It is not recommended to modify that way. If you are just modifying css then you can add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box. But if you want to further customize the theme then you need to build Child theme and edit it.
