Hello Catchthemes-Team,

I have purchased the Pro Version from Catch-box Pro for more opportunities with the slider.
1) Size: greater width
2) Link to Pages and others

That is it, I want to use. At the moment not more.

But, the performance in the wp-admin area is very, very slow.
The performance in the free Catch Box Theme is very fast and OK.
When I activate the Pro Theme, I have to wait after a Click from twenty to sixty seconds. I have installed a new WordPress an check the Performance. It is the same. Very slow performance.

I use the the actual WordPress Version and the actual Theme-Versions in the German language.

1. Question
Why is it so slow? What can I improve, to make it so fast as in the free Catch Box Version.

2. Question
Is it possible, to use the slide from the Pro Version in the free Version?

I combine WordPress, the catch box theme with a shop. The wp-admin area is often in use. The system currently can not operate it properly now.

@RST: Catch Box Pro has lot of theme options then Catch Box Free theme, so it will definitely will load shower in admin area then free one. The admin areas will be slow depending on plugins used as well. Nothing much can be done with these.

Isn´t there any chance or Workaround to use the slider from the Pro Version in the Free Theme? I think, I could edit the data direct in the tables. I don´t need the Administration Forms.

@RST: Pro version slider uses different code base and cannot be added back.

I have the same issue! Performance in back-end is really really slow!
– I deactivated all plugins (admin wasn’t faster)
– I optimized database (admin wasn’t faster)
– contacted host provider (their server is working properly)

The performance only improved when I changed the theme from Simple catch PRO to Simple catch (or any other free theme). I really don’t want to change wp-theme every time I edit my webpage.

Is there any solution to fix this problem?

@mpetric: It’s strange as Simple Catch and Simple Catch Pro uses same code base for admin section. Can I take a look at your site admin. I will email you with the details.
