I am using Adventurous Pro. I have been struggling with my Gallery pages. I have galleries inserted into my page using the three column sidebar template and want to have a sidebar to the right in order to navigate to different galleries. The sidebar is placed below all the main content. Is there a way to use this layout but have the sidebar at the top aligned with the galleries but without using the default template (I don’t like the appearance of the galleries). I only want this menu to appear on the galleries and not on other pages.

@nikibranting: I’m afraid, Adventurous Pro does not have three column layout. But if you want to display the optional sidebar on gallery page only, this can be done. Go to gallery edit page, then scroll down to Adventurous Options, select Right Sidebar in Sidebar Layout option. Then select Optional Sidebar One in Select Sidebar option. This will use widgets in Optional Sidebar One widget area(Go to Dashborad=> Appearance=> Widgets and put you desired widgets in Optional Sidebar One widget area and click Save). Then click Update. Hope this helps.

I have done that but my sidebar is displayed at the bottom of the page. I want it displayed at the top, parallel with the content, but with the content area displayed as is. I don’t like the appearance of the secondary menu area below the header but have inserted it until I can find a solution.

@nikibranting: Please try disabling plugin you are using and check if it resolves the issue. If not, try activating the Parent theme and check if it works or not. Let me know further.

I did try that. I found a way to make it work editing the PHP but still could not get it to function the way I wanted it to. I decided to abandon the design and stylize the secondary menu across the top instead. Thank you anyway for your help.
