Dear Support,

running a page or post like:

https://www.stiftung-meeresschutz.org/die-verschmutzung-der-meere/ballastwasser-uebereinkommen/

through PageSpeed Insights, one gets a red alert diagnose for:

„Above the fold“-images loaded with lazy-load  whisch causes a delay and affects LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) score

I asked Word Press Optimize support  how get rid of this. They recommended to get in touch with you asking to modify the the_post_thumbnail call in the inc/adventurous-functions.php file and pass arguments to disable lazy loading for featured images

Do you have a solution for modifying this inc/adventurous-functions.php file ?

@dsm : The lazy load feature is added by WordPress core and its not added by the theme.
If you would like to disable the lazy loading feature please install and activate the following plugin from the WordPress repository.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-lazy-loading/
