Hey,
I started adding child menu items to the nav menu and a lot of the pages have jumped out of its parent menu. Is there a maximum number of pages that can be added as child menu items? If so, is there a way to decrease the size of the menu items to fit more?
Thanks, guys!
P.S. Here’s the url: http://goo.gl/49Mbeo 😛

No, there is no limit for the child menu items, you can add as many items as you want. Seems all you items are in parent and not as child, so all items are displaying at once. Or may be you’ve selected the other menu instead. Go to “Dashboard=> Appearance=> Menus” then select a menu from the drop down then scroll down to the bottom to Menu Setting section and please check on Primary menu in Theme locations.

I noticed that after adding more menu items and reorganizing the pages and stuff, the Primary Menu checkbox got unchecked. I’m trying to recheck the box and click on save menu and the page refreshes, but the box won’t stay checked… I’m not sure what I did wrong here.

It is kind of odd, in our server it is working fine. Do you get any error or something?
Let me know if any issue.Regards,
MaheshFebruary 10, 2016 at 1:58 pm #85086andrewf90MemberIt is weird. I think it has something to do with WordPress and what I’m trying to do. I think I’m just putting too many pages in the menu and organizing it many times without saving in between. I noticed when I click on the save menu button often, it looks good. When I don’t, the pages change location and become unorganized. It’s weird. But it’s all good now.
Thanks for reassuring me everything is working fine on your end. It helped me narrow down what I might be doing wrong.

Yes, you do have to click save menu button everytime you change something to it.Regards,
