Is there an option in the theme to control the link of featured content (and other posts) on the home page?

In other words, I am using a shortened post (v. using a page, or a truncated full length post) in both the sliders at the top and on other sections.

How can I either turn off the linking back to the original post, or point them to where I need them to go (the full length post).

@brianinsyntrix : This option is not available in customizer. Why would you like to turn off link to the original post ? Let me know if you need further assistance.

So the content of the post is more important than the post itself.

I want them to click on a link within the post (which takes them to Amazon to buy the product)… not the post which takes them to a post, which is what they just saw.

I hope that is clear(er).

If I could just turn off the post area being live(hot) that would work as only the hyperlink in the post would still be active.
