    There is a pixel dot overlay on the slider which covers all the images in the slide with a pattern of little dots.

    Is it possible to remove this overlay and just show the photos in the slider in an un modified manner?

    @htenbyslide: To remove the slider background effect, you need to go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider => Slider Effect Options” and check “Disable Slider Background Effect”. Save it.

    Actually I have done that but the effect still remains.

    I cannot send you a screen shot but I can tell you my website is http://www.PeerRenters.com ..

    Does this mean my ISP needs to check to see if there is a problem with the database causing the button not to work?

    Problem solved. I had the go to Super Cache and delete the cache … and then the slider appeared without the effect.
