On some pages I have been able to get rid of it, and I think I clicked on Screen Options, then Discussion and/or Comments (another box opened up where I could disable it). Now when I try it, nothing happens and the Leave a Reply box remains on the page.

Sakin, thank you for being kind enough to take a look at this. Yes, that worked on some other pages, but on my About page, when I click on the Discussions and/or Comments box, nothing happens. Since I haven’t published my blog yet, I’d probably have to send you sign-in info in order to see the page.

Hello bouncedancer

I had the same problem a while ago and found the solution in “quickedit” the button next or under each page (click on show all pages and then on quickedit below each one. There you can change the option also.

I hope my explanation is clear enough because I am using the German version of this theme.
