Hi,
I´d like to enlarge my header pic in the size of 840 px, so that it covers the total blog width.
The problem is that the right side of the header is a kind of “locked”, so the image can not be enlarged.
Moreover i`d like to integrate the search-widget in the header in front of my picture.
How to do?

sorry, for the wrong url.
Meanwhile I solved the problem with the size of the header-image, but I´d like to integrate the search box in/over the image in the header.

Moreover I´d like to change the header of each post. Instead of “published” it should show the last update of the post.

@silentcall: Changing from Published to last update it quite complicated and you need to build child theme. In your child theme you need to create functions.php then you can copy the functions catchbox_posted_on() and edit it.
