I know I am not supposed to change the footer php, but I added a script concerning my bounce rate in analytics. I added it just above the body tag. Since I added it, my analytics started registering no page views at all. I removed the script and presumed everything would be ok. Well, analytics is still not registering any page views when I know that people have visited the page. Is it possible that I can get a template of how the footer php is supposed to look?

@Karen: Yes, if you want to change footer.php file then you need to build child theme and edit it. For child theme check out http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/

For Google Analytic and all you can add the code in “Appearance => Theme Options => Webmaster Tools => Header and Footer Codes” and then add it in “Code to display on Footer”
