Is there a way to add a fourth slider?
May 29, 2013 at 10:22 am #9602SakinKeymaster@images98: Yes you can increase or decrease number of slides though “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider => Slider Options”. There you can type in Number of Slides.
It will be Featured Post Slider in Free Theme and Featured Slider in Pro and Premium themes.
May 30, 2013 at 3:34 pm #9655FenanxxlMemberHello Sakin,
i really love your them Catch Box. It is perfect for my primary school! I have a question about the “Featured post slider”. I would like to make it a “Recent post slider”. Is that possible? So that when collegue’s of mine make a new post, it automatically ends up in the ‘Featured post slider’.
Thank you for making this wonderfull theme.
Greetings,
Andreas

June 7, 2013 at 2:43 pm #10066SakinKeymaster@striderbl: I see that you have customize the footer. Please restore the footer.php file and it will be fine.
Also I see that you are using Free Simple Catch Theme and Remove Theme: Simple Catch. This is necessary for all free theme users. As this is also appreciation that you get for providing the free themes and free support. If you want to edit your footer text. then use simple catch pro theme where you have footer edit options.
June 7, 2013 at 10:14 pm #10093striderblMemberi put back the initial footer.php file but this problem is still appears. I have an other problem, when i install theme i cant see my recent post and after this i need to set a static front page for displaying my post, when in options is mentioned to show recent posts the slider works correctly with more than one featured post, but posts are not seen. When i make to show concrete categories on the front page, i see posts, but now i have problems with slider. i dont know what to do
June 8, 2013 at 12:53 am #10116SakinKeymaster@striderbl: Thanks for putting back the footer. I see that there is some issue with the slider with the version. So, I have just push the update, but it will be only release once the WordPress theme review team makes it live. For now you have to manually update the theme. You can download theme from http://wordpress.org/themes/download/simple-catch.2.4.3.zip
June 10, 2013 at 5:52 pm #10284striderblMemberno, it’s still not working, and it didn’t work after i removed credits, meybe somewhere something was written in other directories, but still not working. i use this theme for my company and maybe i will buy pro version, but i must be sure that free is working correctly, so, where can be the problem?

July 3, 2013 at 5:10 am #11336jackwagonMemberMy exclude slider posts from home page check box is not working. My slider has post writing underneath. How can I get rid of it?
I created a “blank” post so there would be no writing but that didn’t work either b/c when I activated the blog I had 3 empty blog posts.
Is it possible to have a slider image w/o a post showing up on the blog?
if I have to put in content in the post, how can i keep that content from showing up underneath my slider. I’ve checked and unchecked the exclude box in the slider options several times and is not doing anything.tx so much
July 3, 2013 at 5:11 am #11337jackwagonMemberSorry – ad an addendum. The front page post category setting is showing up as “disabled”. My website is http://www.shadesofpale.com
July 3, 2013 at 4:49 pm #11352SakinKeymaster@jackwagon: I don’t get it what you mean. You can enable it back.
July 7, 2013 at 12:41 am #11480jackwagonMemberSakin –
Regarding post #11352. Thank you for getting back to me. I would like to get rid of of the text (coming from the post content) that is appearing underneath my featured slider on the home page. (talks about ingredients). All I want is the photographs, no text. Not sure how to get rid of it.I thought I could get rid of it by checking off the box in theme options> featured slider> featured post slider > add slider options > exclude slider posts from home page posts box, but nothing happens when I check it or uncheck it. The text still remains.
to view the problem please go to http://www.shadesofpale.com
I can get rid of the text by publishing a post for the slider with no writing. As soon as I enable the blog, it looks horrible. This leaves me with an empty published post in the blog, so this does not work.
How can I get rid of the text underneath my featured slider in the home page?
Alexandra
