Is there any way to edit the text in the featured slider or does it just call raw data? For instance if you go to http://pensfanatics.com/ and check out my slider, the text is the same format as the excerpt. Any way to change that?
May 2, 2013 at 12:14 pm #8250SakinKeymaster@pensfanatics: Yes the text in the slider will be the “Title of the post” and “Excerpt Content of the Post”
But if you have problem with this then you can use “Featured Image Slider instead of featured Post slider. When you use Featured Image Slider, you can add your own image, title and description all optional as per your need.
May 3, 2013 at 7:23 am #8347pensfanaticsMemberI would use the image slider, but that’s too much of a PITA to change so often. The slider has to call from some kind of PHP or CSS that can be edited, no?
May 4, 2013 at 12:00 am #8388SakinKeymaster@pensfanatics: I don’t get it what you mean.
You can use Featured Post Slider to add in the post to the slider, or you can use Featured Category Slider to add latest post from specific category to the slider, or you can use Featured Page Slider to add in the page to the slider, or you can use Featured Image Slider to add Image as the latest post.

May 4, 2013 at 12:52 am #8396SakinKeymaster@pensfanatics: Just adjust the color code in following CSS and add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#slider-wrap .featured-text span { color: #aaa; font-weight: bold; }
September 15, 2013 at 5:29 am #14550tracypieMemberSo I am using WooCommerce plugin with Catchbox Pro theme and the featured image on the product page is GIGANTIC, no matter how much I resize it – it doens’t really resize. This is a problem because when related products come up, those featured images are not only gigantic, but blurry as well.

September 15, 2013 at 5:44 am #14551tracypieMemberThe images are not consistent in terms of sharpness.
http://kickinitinkindergarten.com/product/jan-brett-author-study/The top image is from the Featured image
The middle image was inserted via Add media (this looks fine)
The images at the bottom are also featured images and they are blurry.HELP!
September 15, 2013 at 11:38 pm #14567SakinKeymaster@tracypie: I just check in your product http://kickinitinkindergarten.com/product/jan-brett-author-study/ and found that image url as http://kickinitinkindergarten.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/JanBrettAuthorStudy-e1379201537379.jpg
This image is small so when expanding it is blurred. So, upload the larger image.
September 15, 2013 at 11:43 pm #14568tracypieMemberSo what’s the appropriate size for the featured images?
