I’d like to change the featured portfolio images that appear in the homepage from vertical to horizontal. Is it prossible with the free version?

The featured photo of the Portaits & People is horizontal: do I have a way to keep it as it is? It seems that all the fetured photos are only vertical.

I checked your site and the image size of the featured image of Portaits & People  is 1920x2848px. The height of your image is huge to be horizontally placed. Please  try using an image that has a width bigger that its height.
