Hello,

I’m having an issue with my slider. One of my featured slider images changed the cropping by itself and I can’t seem to get it correct again. Here is the url.

Notice in the second image in the slider the man’s head is cut off. I’ve tried to recrop it in the thumbnail editor but it’s not working. I’m trying to get to where the man’s face is included in the slider.

Hi @tivonjohnson,

The recommended image size for Featured Post Slider is (976px x 313px). If you use large image then it will automatically crop the image to that size(without maintaining the aspect ratio). And if you use small image, the original image will be used. I recommend you to re-size/crop the image to the recommended size, then upload.

Hi Mahesh,

I did resize and crop the image. I had it in the right position so that the man’s face was visible but then after a week it changed automatically to where it is now and I can’t get it back to the way I had it.

Hi @tivonjohnson,

The image was correct at first and changed automatically after a week? That is kind of odd. Have you made any changes to the codes afterward. May be some plugins you are using created the issue. Please try again cropping the image manually and try again.

Yes. At the time when it changed I was updating my gravatar. I didn’t change any code. I’ve re-uploaded, resized, and re-cropped in the thumbnail editor. Still no change. The image in my thumbnail editor for the slider looks correct but it’s not reflected on the actual slider on the homepage.
