Hi, I am sure there is a fix for this.

The sublinks on my dropdown menu appear UNDER the featured image slider I am using.

Right now there is only one menu button that has dropdowns: Gallery, but they may change in the future.

@macwebster: First you are using older version of Catch Box Pro theme, so that might be problem. Second, if you don’t want to upgrade then you can add the following CSS in your “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
#branding { z-index: 20; }

Yes, the update from 2.4 to 2.6 was the answer. The fix you mention is helpful as well.
