I changed the server of my website.

Since I have changed to the new server the excerpt length of 30 words is not working any more. It allways shows the whole text even if I say for example show just 5 words.

Can you help me to fix that problem?

@pips: Sorry you site in not in English so it’s bit difficult to understand. Where you are testing excerpt length. This excerpt length works in Category/archive page with excerpt layout selected in theme options panel.

@pips: Thanks for your detail explanation with Youtube video. It’s great. Now, I wonder why it works in your old space and doesn’t in new space. I need to check in your server to find out the details. I will email you personally and please reply me there.

@pips: I see that there is conflict with “WP Multibyte Patch” and I have disable it and it’s working fine.

Same problem here. I checked the posts to Excerpt but it still shows full content. I also disabled a responsive design, but it still appears as mobile version on mobile devices.

@George: You have install Jetpack plugin and activated “Mobile” module. You need to go to Jetpack settings and then disable mobile module.
