Hello,

I’m currently working on my website (in local for now) and I’ve set the home page so it display text excerp of the 3 main pages. Unfortunately, the text formatting is not kept, so the except are very ugly (especially the one where the line breaks between phone number/adress/email are not taken in account).

Is there a solution for that ?

@cssc: Well, the problem is because excerpt only allows plain text and strips all html tags which makes it ugly. As for the solution, you may use the excerpt provided by the WordPress. Go to Dashboard=> Posts=> All Posts then edit a post, click on Screen Options present on top right beside the Help button, some options drops down. Make sure excerpt checkbox is checked (You may skip this if its already checked). Then scroll down below the content, you’ll see excerpt section. Put your desired text here. It allows HTML, line-breaks etc.

Thanks for your help, it would probably have worked if the excerp I want to display were from a post. Unfortunately, the home page excerps are from Pages.. So there I can’t find option for WordPress excerps in this… Any idea ?

@cssc: By default, only posts support excerpt. Please search and use plugins for that for WordPress Plugins repo.
