I have both a static image logo and an animated logo that I would like to have on my site and positioned in the top left corner of the screen. Not sure if i want to use the animation or the static image but both have transparent backgrounds as i’d like to, whichever one i use, just overlay them over top of the background video currently embedded in my site. Can’t figure out how to do this.
Using the customizer it’s making my page scroll down to see the background video, or if i use the “logo” option it is the small circular logo which is not what i’m going for. The image size is 1920×1080 though i’d like to resize it to about half that, and then have it resize responsively across other devices. Can you please advise on how to do this? Thank youOctober 16, 2018 at 4:10 pm #156864SakinKeymaster@markmoritz: Sorry, there is no option to add logo in top left corner of the screen. The logo will be in there center of header media. Another option is to user the header media where can add your log in the header media itself.
I think, your logo will look nice in the center like in our demo site. Also, you can remove the border in the image by adding the following css in “Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS” box:
.custom-logo { border: none; }
For more, please post in your site URL and then I can check in how your logo is being displayed and what we can do it.
Thanks.

Is there perhaps a different theme I should be switching over to that might better accommodate what i’m trying to do? I feel like i’ve had to make a significant amount of CSS changes in order to get this theme to really work for me and perhaps there is a better option to achieve the desired look and in an easier fashion
October 16, 2018 at 4:22 pm #156869SakinKeymasterPlease share your site URL and then I can check in and see if there is anything we can do it. Yes, you might want to change to different theme like Audioman pro where there is option to use loo in two places in the center and header left area. Also, check out more themes at https://catchthemes.com/themes/category/premium/
You can purchase any of the theme and let me know it, then I will ask sales to refund your purchase for “Adonis Pro” theme. Sorry for the inconvenience.

October 17, 2018 at 11:22 am #156916markmoritzParticipantAudioman seems to be getting closer to what I’m looking for. However, ideally, i would like to have an option to use an animated logo sequence. Are there any themes or options/ways to do that? Basically, my goal for the landing/front page is the full screen background video autoplaying which is being done using MB-YTPlayer plugin through WordPress. Then I need a menu (preferably with the modern style), a footer at the bottom with the copyright info and social links, and then I would like to potentially have the option of overlaying the logo animation OVER the background video but placed in the top left corner. SO more or less, Audioman looks pretty good, just wondering if there’s anyway to use a short logo animation video as the ‘logo’ or if that’s available in any compatible themes

1. In Audioman, you can upload Header Video from “Appearance => Customize => Header Media”, which will be full screen. So, you don’t need plugin for this.
2. Yes, in Audioman pro, you can change menu to “Modern” style from “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Menu Options”
3. Then you and upload logo from “Appearance => Customize => Site Identity which will be on the top left corner.October 17, 2018 at 1:27 pm #156928markmoritzParticipantis there a way however in audioman with the header media video to have it play the audio as well? or embed the youtube info to include the option for a volume control?
October 17, 2018 at 1:32 pm #156930SakinKeymaster@markmoritz: Sorry, no audio option. You can add youtube video but there will not be audio as this is from WordPress core header media and it doesn’t have audio option. It’s only for decoration purposes.
October 17, 2018 at 3:48 pm #156937markmoritzParticipantso are there any options that enable an animated logo?
October 18, 2018 at 4:17 am #156970SakinKeymaster@markmoritz: For animated logo can you try adding GIF image.
October 18, 2018 at 1:19 pm #157027markmoritzParticipantHow do i go about doing that?
October 18, 2018 at 10:44 pm #157057SakinKeymaster@markmoritz: I don’t have tutorial to create gif file but you can search in google or youtube and will you will get lot of tutorials.
October 18, 2018 at 11:00 pm #157063markmoritzParticipantthat’s fine i’m not overly concerned about that. My primary concern is in my other thread really and that’s about getting the layout established. I can work with the logo however I need to from there but need to get the theme and layout resolved properly
October 18, 2018 at 11:15 pm #157072SakinKeymaster@markmoritz: Ok sure. thanks.
