IS there a layout for a course catalog (we have 28 courses) or do I have to create my own? Also, for the courses slider, do I have to create individual pages for each course for it to appear there?

Hi @silkroaddog,

Courses can use, page, post, category, or custom image content.

It you use page/post/category, you will have to create separate post/page for each one.

If you use custom image, you just add the images, links, content there, but if you want to link it to a different page, you will need to create it.

Ok, so I have to create an individual page for each course for it to appear on the slider. Got it.

The primary question is “IS there a layout for a course catalog (we have 28 courses) or do I have to create my own?”. We want the student to be able to start at one page that shows all the classes we have, then they can choose from there. Think of it as a gallery of classes. Is there such a layout. If not, you may want to work on it as that would seem to be a critical page.

What you say is a valid feature. This is currently not available. We are going to discuss in the next team meet and add the feature. Right now, because of WordPress 4.8 release scheduled soon, we are bust with updates.

Most probably, the feature will be added in our Essential Content Types plugin, adding Course as a post type with more features.

For now, you will need to add it manually. We will work on this feature.
