Hello,

I’d like my posts to display on the homepage as images with a few lines of introductory text, followed by a “click here” or “read more”, which will open up the whole post.

In ‘Theme Options > Layout Options > Content Layout, I’ve selected ‘Excerpt/Blog Display’. All of my posts also have featured images set.

My blog URL is feastplaylove.me, can anyone help me out?

@jessgranata: The excerpt layout will not work good when you are using Custom Post Format. In each of your post, you need to change that to “Standard” format.

Thanks so much for your help, that’s worked perfectly. The only thing I wanted to ask is whether I have an option of making the featured image portrait or landscape.
