    Hello,
I’m experiencing a problem with Internet Explorer and Sub Menus with the Catch Everest ‘free’ theme. When the Parent menu item is hovered over, the height of the main menu (header-menu) div changes during this hover. It only happens in IE.

However, the same site accessed via IP does not experience the problem.

If you can’t recreate the problem, I have also included images of how it renders in my browser (IE 10) on the child page.

    Any help is appreciated.

@eemsweb: Can you check your IE10 setting. As when I check in your site. It is working fine. There is no issue in your menu like you have shown in attachment.

Thanks for the response Sakin, I appreciate it.

I tried two editions of IE in my office before posting, a version of 9 and a version of 10. Both had the problem. Though after your post I’ve tried a 3rd, 4th and 5th install of IE and they don’t. So I’ll have to see if I can find why some do and some don’t.

If I can ask another question, where is the code that writes the custom CSS when wp_head is called? I’d like to try and wrap the <!– * Custom CSS Styles –> section in a conditional statement to handle some other IE css problems too.

    Cheers,

    D

@eemsweb: You can add custom css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
