Can't Modify Footer

Under Theme Options, I tried modifying footer editor under footer option, but after every edit, the content reverts to the original when I save it. I made sure the “reset footer” box isn’t ticked while doing this several time. The disable footer works fine though. Could someone help help with this? Thank you.
