I have a problem using the breadcrumb on my homepage.

Breadcrumb is show correctly on the page like this:

Home > Main-Topic > “Subtopic”

But in the google index in the “Sup-Topic” is “cut”. So it appears in
Google as this:

Home > “Main-Topic” (the Subtopic is missing)

For example

http://firmen-insolvenz-beratung.de/herzlich-willkommen/

Breadcrumb shown on my homepage:

Home » Aktuelle Beiträge »Herzlich Willkommen!

Result in the google index:

firmen-insolvenz-beratung.de › Aktuelle Beiträge

missing is “Herzlich Willkommen”

firmen-insolvenz-beratung.de › Aktuelle Beiträge > Herzlich Willkommen

How can I fix this?

@Johannes: But that one depends on your Permalink settings. So, check your settings at “Settings => Permalinks”. You can try custom structure as /%category%/%postname%/ and then you can also install “Yost SEO” plugin and fixed the permalink.

This is not theme issue. It’s your WordPress Permalink settings issue.
