Is there a way to add to the footer text so that it includes additional information such as address and phone number next to the site name? I see the footer is built with php and I don’t know php at all. Maybe this is something I should add to my child theme? Would it be a functions.php? Or is there an easier way without diving into a new language? :/
If the only way is to add a .php file to my child theme, can you tell me what’s required as open and close tags? I think the WP Codex is very clear about child theme style.css but I’m still a little unclear about adding necessary elements to a functions.php file….maybe because I don’t know php 🙂
Thanks in advance for your help!

Otherwise, yes you have to create the child theme and do it. For Free theme we don’t recommend to change the footer text.
