I’m creating my first page on my blog. I’m using the Visual vs Text method. I create a few sentences and then press enter 2 times so that I see a blank line before the next sentences I write. After I click Update, those extra lines disappear.

I can go to the Text method and insert <br /><br /> at the appropriate place but I would have expected not to have to do this within the Visual mode.

@Keith: Sorry this is how WordPress editor work. We have no control on it. It create auto <p></p> tags and for <br /> you need to go to text mode. You can change to any default theme and check in. It’s not the theme issue.
