After a few hours of tying to solve the problem we have a solution!
Looks like its a strange typical problem with Microsoft IE9 – pity help us all!
This is what we found
We have 5 computers in the office, 3 use IE9 which do now show the website with Catch Box Responsive Theme, one using IE9 does show it, they are all the same version of IE9. There seems to be no reasin for one and not the other 3 to run the website .
One use IE8 shows it fine.
On investigating this, one of us found a few blogs reporting similar problems.
It seems that IE9 for some reason does not like Helvetica and Heletica Neue – both are used in the style.css for the Catch Box Responsive Theme.
When we removed them and just left in Arial, the website now show up on all of our computers using IE9
IE9 seems to be sticking around especially as its embedded in Windows 8 and IE still gets the bulk of use when we look at a range of website stats for different sites.
I hope this is useful – perhaps Catch Themes technical guys can benefit by this and update the styles so they do not use the two offending fonts.
