    I am considering upgrading to the pro version. I currently have the free version. Just to make sure I understand correctly, I buy the Pro, download the pro version zip file, then upload it via the Admin Panel and activate it. Will all of my content transfer? I have no custom CSS or anything like that.

    @vatrailrider: Yes, upgrading from Free to Pro will not impact on you content. All your content will stay as it is. And if you do have settings, they will be migrated to Pro automatically too.

    So I go to buy this, and I see that it says that the purchase price is only good for one year. While I can use it for lifetime, it will only update for one year. So you are telling me that I won’t get any updates to this theme after one year, even for security updates? That if I want to keep the theme up-to-date, I will have to purchase it again EVERY YEAR? I have several paid for themes for other websites, and none of them make me pay yearly for updates!

    Okay, so I sent an email via the link above….almost immediately after you gave that. I have never heard back from anyone. 🙁

    This isn’t inspiring a lot of confidence…..

    So, yeah….no one has every gotten back to me from that link you asked me to contact with the sales team. You have not given me an answer to the question of if I have to re-purchase every year to receive updates for the Pro version. I assume, now, that this is how it is, that if one purchases Pro, one must re-purchase every year to keep getting updates. 🙁

    I spent a lot of time on the free version creating a website as to how I wanted it. I had been interested in purchasing the Pro version, but now…since no one wants to offer any explanation, I guess I will be trying out other themes and seeing if I can transfer all of my content adequately and arrange things again on some other theme.

    I’ve wasted a lot of time with this. 🙁

    @vatrailrider: Really sorry about that. Hope I make the things clear here for the updates and subscription.
    Once you purchase the theme, its yours for the lifetime and you can use it to as many site as you’ve owned without any third party involvement. And you’ll get regular updates of one year. As one year subscription ends, you can continue using the theme, the only thing is that you won’t be receiving further updates. For updates you’ll need to subscribe again. You can skip years in-between for example: buy a theme, then you can skip 2 years (with no updates) then on third year you can subscribe again.
