Sorry for the delay, it’s been a weird and slow project. I did it manually, but to point the subtheme to the new parent theme was a bit tricky. It didn’t work correctly just by changing the style.css file parent theme option, and I had to create a new subtheme (and to configure all the theme options again). I also have some troubles sometimes for configuring some parts of the theme like the featured content. It didn’t show up after applying changes. Right now seems to work properly, but I have not idea what I did wrong or well. Almost finishing hope to not disturb you anymore 🙂
I finally bought the pro version, I would like to know which is the safest way to do it. Should I just decompress the archives and point my subtheme to the pro version instead of the free one?
Thanks in advance
P.D. I will do the review as soon as a finish this project in order to be able to share a complete experience.
Thanks a lot, it was really helpful. As feedback, could be useful to specify it in the theme guide. It’s not intuitive to figure out that just inserting a link to any social network it will be displayed with its own icon.
I’ll consider the pro option.
Thanks again
Regards,
pablo
