    Hi Sakin

Yes, thank you, but first of all I think the manual for catch box should be changed. I spent hours looking for a solution of something that does not exist anymore. The manual says:

How to insert Site Verification IDs?

Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Webmaster Tools”
    Click on

      Site Verification

But there is no “site verification” in catch box anymore.

    Thank you for your support!

One little hint from my side … Maybe somebody could change the manual so that one can find the solution there? It would mean less work for you ;).

    Many thanks again.

YEAH …. it worked! I had emptied the cache, but forgot to wait another few minutes until my hoster had published the change.
    Many thanks Sakin.

Oh boy … :O … now you are losing me here.

Which steps do I have to do exactly? Where to I need to go? Cache plugin set up?
    Where do I find this?

Cache my cache? I am bit confused.

Thank you Sakin for the quick answer.

Option 2 would be an easy alternative, but unfortunately it does not work. I tried on on header box as well as footer box and both. Google does not recognize it.

I will try option 3 now.

    Hi Sakin

    I try again:
    My question refers to this:

I just added the google+ publisher link into SEO Yoast but I cannot find an
option to insert the author link anywhere.

Is only one link (either author or publisher link) necessary for google+?

Regarding the social icons I will open a new thread.

    Hi Sakin

A late thanks to you for your help. But do I understand you right to add the google+ publisher link to Social icons? This seems strange to me.

Using my childtheme my website still looks different than before and I did not change a thing. The colour is different and the menue shows more than it is suppose to. Here I would need your help how to solve this problem.

    Hello again

You can ignore the before posted because I could solve the problem with the child theme meanwhile (I had a misstyping in it). I activated it now, but it still looks different than before and I did not change a thing. The colour is different and the menue shows more than it is suppose to. Here I would need your help how to solve this problem.

Great, thanks Sakin. I will have a look at it.

Now, one more thing about child themes. I am not experienced at all, but have already started creating a child theme. I created the child folder, added the style.css and inserted the requested text as given in the wordpress instructions. Sofar so good but when I want to activate it in my dashboard/design/themes I see a message that the theme is damaged. It says:

Catch Box/ The overriding theme is missing. Please install the overriding theme
Child / “catch box” or else you cannot use the child theme.

    What happened here?

It also says that that theme is installed but not complete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

What did I do wrong here? My child theme does only contain style.css so far.

But I can see the original version nevertheless.

Sorry about this mess but I do not have much experience and am learning by doing. Sometimes this does not work 😉

Great! I am glad I could be of help.

I remember well how I almost went crazy to find this solution and how much time I spent on it. Easy solutions are often hard to find :).

    Hello bouncedancer

I had the same problem a while ago and found the solution in “quickedit” the button next or under each page (click on show all pages and then on quickedit below each one. There you can change the option also.

I hope my explanation is clear enough because I am using the German version of this theme.

    Hi Sakin

Many thanks again for your help.

I found the solution via Quickedit. On some of my pages the “leave a comment option” was still ticked. I unticked them and … problem solved.

    Best wishes

    Hi Sakin

    Thanks for your reply.
    My URL is http://mm-externe-datenschutzbeauftragte.de/
Yes, but I want to hide not only the text “Hinterlasse eine Antwort” (=Leave a Message) but also the boxes/option to leave a message. So I just want visitors to only see the text of my pages/articles. The blog only has informative character.

Hope this makes it clear for you. If not please ask me again.
    Thank you.
