knudkp ParticipantI couldent make it work, really ….. so I went back to just putting some text and links into this custom html-widget in footer 4. My dream was to have:
 – a transperrent image as a background, with text and links on it, in footer 4.But when I did, either the html or css did so, that it looked differently when maximizing/resizing the window, and/or changing browser ….. thanks
Knudknudkp ParticipantEhh … What I did was simply just to go into the ‘widget area’ and add the widget to footer area, and then add code to it, and add code into the css-box -area. thanks
Knudknudkp Participantah yeah …. I was more kinda thiking … if this hole blue area could be split up into … lets say 3 perhaps 4 editble footer content areas ….. i know I can do the line break and stuff …. So no, it didn’t help really 🙂 knudkp Participantupps …. my host was down …. its up running again …. knudkp ParticipantHi again 1. The code for /** Stop login form and its lost password */ doesnt seem to work – however Im not sure 2, Yes, i know this child-theme is a good idear. Is this really the only way?
I mean … the only thing I change is content in the functions.php file, and in the custom css box under appereance?thanks
Knudknudkp ParticipantThat’s not the issue. The issue is, wether (which i think is quite impossible), if the code will work with my Base Pro -theme. Normally these codes apply to all WordPress functions.php-files, and are the,e-specific. Never mindknudkp ParticipantSapana, you are awesome! Now this CSS worked perfectly … Well, theres still a horisontal line between upper and lover content, but I guess I can live with that … thanks
Knudknudkp ParticipantI’m not quite sure, but it looks like it helped — When pasting the code I changed the number 0 to 30 in the line “padding-top:0px !important;” as I guess that would be needed to reduce the amount of space. I also see two horisontal lines … they take space as well … Can I remove them too? thanks
knudknudkp ParticipantI meant, How do I minimize that huge white space between the upper and lover content – see https://snag.gy/clNX4m.jpg thanks
Knudknudkp ParticipantOh, that worked … perfectly – see https://snag.gy/clNX4m.jpg How do I minimize that huge white space of nothing, between ‘the upper content’ and the ‘lover footer content’ – this inbetween white space is pretty huge … Thanks again for grat service! Purchasing your themes ALWAYS gives me value for money! thanks
 Knud
Denmarkknudkp ParticipantSakin, i see Now I changed my screen res. to 1920×1280 – and made this screenshot: https://snag.gy/vgLEZR.jpg Well, for me it just looks like, that the whole thing with featured slider takes a great amount of space of the screen I know I shall take some space, but I feel and imagine that this is taking about 75% ? Wot do you think? knudkp ParticipantYou are a god – a CSS-god Thanks .-) knudkp ParticipantYou are awesome! How do I make the font bold or itallic ? thanks
Knudknudkp Participant… and how do i justify that subheadline? knudkp ParticipantThat did it! Thanks a lot. Final question: How do i change the font size and color of the headline and subheadline, at featured content? The two line that says “Informationsportalen om fleksjob Samlet viden om fleksjobordnigen, og mulighederne for fleksjobbere, arbejdsgivere og jobcentre. Her samler vi kontinuerligt al den viden pĂĄ omrĂĄdet, sĂĄ du kan tage den rigtige beslutning. ” Thats in danish 🙂 knudkp Participantknudkp ParticipantIt did not help … becasue, when this CSS code is there, the ppost/page titel appears … That is why I in the first place got this code. thanks
 Knudknudkp ParticipantWiered it is
https://snag.gy/YlKpbU.jpgIt has changed itself back to normal. Really, I didn’t do anything February 18, 2017 at 5:40 pm in reply to: Color, and thickness of the line horizontal line – in footer area #110186knudkp ParticipantPratik, It did not help at all. Neither in Firefox or IE. I tried them all together and one bye one. thx
