This has been resolved. Basically activating ‘minify’ on W3 Total Cache broke my site. Apologies for the confusion
k.capelliMemberIts still the same my end but on my phone its viewing fine. I’ve cleared all cache. Any idea what could be going on?
k.capelliMemberIf you click on lets say “Alternative London Guide” it doesn’t look like it should. I have created a child theme but I haven’t changed anything and on the last version it was all working fine.

If you look here you can see that there is no menu bar as its displayed on the home screen, also some weird cutting my header in half sort of thing is going on. The side bar is also missing which is still set to be there.
Hopefully that makes more sense.
k.capelliMemberI am 100% aware of this. Did you read my question? My menu pages are completely messed up since the update. If you have a look you can see http://www.thelostlondoner.com
And
Even if I do not put them into the menu they appear there anyway
k.capelliMemberIt’s league gothic. Is this possible?
k.capelliMemberIs there a way to make it responsive with some code that you might know?
k.capelliMemberSorry my actual URL is http://www.thelostlondoner.com without the editing
k.capelliMemberThis has been beyond a massive help to me. And pretty much all the info I needed to get it done.
Thank you so much
k.capelliMemberIt’s not too advanced. The background and logo have been developed for me.
All I need to know is how to put in my new custom made background and if I can and how to change the menu bar to the shape shown.
How do I use an image for the menu. Any HTML code on hand for this?
I’ll remove the social cons from the header but is there a way to centre the icon via the css?
I understand that since I’ve swapped to pro most of the edits are done through the theme editor not the style.css

If you look in my sidebar you will see the Categories bar and the Archive bar “Posts by Month”. I’ve sorted the width of the Categories bar but I want the Archive bar the same width but I cant find the coding for it.
k.capelliMemberI’ve managed to adjust the size of the categories by putting the coding in the custom css box but any idea what code I need to change to adjust the width of the posts drop down menu?
k.capelliMemberOh its now working, harrah! thanks for that 🙂
k.capelliMemberOk I’ve done that and it now seems to locate the style.css but the site still looks all jumbled..
http://www.thelostlondoner.com/wp-content/themes/simple-catch-pro-child/style.css
k.capelliMemberMy site URL is http://www.thelostlondoner.com
When I activate Simple Catch Pro theme its working fine and the style.css is untouched.
When I activate my Simple Catch Pro child theme it looks as it does now (see link), when even I preview it it looks this way. When I go into the ‘editor’ of my child theme it reads..
Templates
This child theme inherits templates from a parent theme, Simple Catch Pro.And it links back to Simple Catch Pro so it seems aware that it is the child of Simple Catch Pro.
My child theme is in the themes folder and contains just the style.css which has been written in ‘Text Wrangler’
Let me know if you need anymore information. Would love to make this look right asap!
k.capelliMemberCan I use my own image to replace the header with Simple Catch Pro?
k.capelliMemberCan this be done in Simple Catch Pro?
