    Hi,
Good point… Thank you. I found the information on the JetPack.
Just one more thing (in fact 2…)
-The blog I’m working on is (for the moment) just on my computer (standalone with MAMP). So, it doesn’t seem that the Jetpack/Posting by Email option can be activated. Do you confirm it will work ONLY when my blog will be finalized AND on line??
-Because you gave me the solution, I tried to apply it to another blog I’m maintaining. I’ve tried to install the JetPack, but the activation doesn’t work. An error message says the extension is already active and so, can’t be once more. But it doesn’t appear in my extensions list!! Any idea?
    Thanks

    Jeff

    Hi,
Sorry if my understanding is not perfect, may be a question of language or the localisation of my WordPress version (in fact in French)….
I’ll try to be more specific about my request… from the beginning
    – When I first downloaded the Catch Evolution theme, the demo shows a Post Slider with 2 photos (a corridor and a white flower) on the main page…
This is the free version of the theme, and it looks like the slider is part of it…
    – From what I understand, the slider is not attached to any particular post?? or is it??

The position of this slider (attached to the default Home page) is perfect for me. I just want to use it, as it is, just with different photos.
And neither with your explanations nor the forum I can find a real explanation.
The only option I could work is only activate or deactivate the slider

    I’m lost… and I don’t where I’m lost.

Thank you for the quick note…
    I’ve already found those possibilities.
All I want to do is to keep the ‘Featured post Slider’ in my ‘Home’ page, exactly like in the demo… and not on any other page. Which makes it simple because it already exists!!
The problem being : how do I edit the photos to be displayed on this Front Page slider??
I haven’t found any actions (Click & Drag / Add a media…) to add new photos (and delete those in the example, the temple and the flower)
    thanks

    OK, thanks, it worked!

    ONE MORE THING…

The exemple gives a ‘Post Slider’… I found how to make it work or disappear but couldn’t manage to change the slides (yes, I know, it looks stupid, but)
I would like to keep the Slider, and of course to have my own pictures.
    Thank you.
    Jeff
