So are you saying that the scenario I described in my original question is not possible with your theme? I can have a featured image slider in the head of every page, or just one page, but I can’t have a featured image slide show on my home page and a different featured image in the head of every other page?

WordPress does appear to have the option to add a different featured image to the head of individual pages, and your theme clearly has the ability to add an image slide show to the head of a page, but I don’t seem to be able to do both (your featured image slider on my home page + different individual featured images in the head of the rest of my pages). Which is what made me think that your theme is overriding WP’s ability to insert a single featured image into the head of a page.

Sorry, I should have clarified that I’m using Simple Catch Pro. So how do I add a different header image on every other page of my website (as shown in the link you provided) while keeping the image slider in the head of the home page? I added a featured image to the second page of my site, but it doesn’t show up on the page (see link to screen shot below):

Also, I don’t know if it’s important, but my website consists entirely of pages, not posts.

Deleted the old theme and installed the latest download from your site. Worked fine and changes I make to the footer stay changed upon saving. Thanks for fixing this! Sorry to have been such a pest.

FYI – the update notifier still does not appear to be fixed. I still don’t have an update notification in my dashboard (still have Simple Catch Pro 1.2.1 installed, though not activated b/c I’m using a child theme).

I tried uploading the new zip file (1.2.4) and got the same error as before:

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/88/9778188/html/dev/wp-content/themes/simple-catch-pro/

So the automatic update still hasn’t shown up in my WP dashboard, so I went ahead and downloaded 1.2.3 from your site. When I try to install the zip file, however, I get this error:

Is this b/c I already have Simple Catch Pro installed, and this is performing a new installation rather than an update to an existing installation? How should I proceed? If I delete the old version and install 1.2.3 I’ll lose all my data, won’t I?

I’m still not seeing it – there’s an update for Simple Catch (to 1.4.9) but no update for Simple Catch Pro. Maybe it takes a few days to work through the system once you submit it? I’ll keep checking.

Awesome, thanks! Will it come through WordPress like a typical update, or will I need to download version 1.2.2 from my account here on the Catch Themes website? I’ve just checked my WordPress dashboard and there are no updates waiting.
