October 19, 2020 at 7:55 pm in reply to: I want to remove the gray “archive” on my blog page for posts. #263126AxumCreativeParticipant
@Skandha: There are two issues:
1. I asked how to remove the gray box which is a placeholder for the featured image?
this was not really solved so I just used your code to remove the entire gray box and “archives” completely.
2. I asked how to remove with the word “archives” inside the image container
the 2.3 theme update did replace the word “archive” with the page title but was not something I could remove completely and was redundant over all.Because there are no individual options in theme controls for these TWO different things. I settled for just using your code to remove them both completely form the page.

I tried different combinations and it was unresponsive. As of now I used the code you provided earlier to delete the whole thing. I have no other choice but to settle for this unless you can provide a permanent fix/solution in the theme controls.
Please advise.
October 17, 2020 at 3:45 pm in reply to: image size controls for image galleries on pages do not work #262931AxumCreativeParticipant@Skandha: The code above worked out. I have updated my theme to 2.3 and there is no working control for resizing the images for either size. I tried for thumbnail and I tried for Medium. Neither of these two options work. The controls in the theme do not work.
Please advise.

Take a look at the third post which is the last post on the page and compare it with the two blog posts above it to see exactly what I am referring to. It is a pretty big gap and does not correct itself upon page loading or refresh.
Please advise.

I followed your directions and have updated the site theme and activated license successfully. The word “archives” is still located inside the featured image header on my blog page, see below:

I have no idea how to update or where to find the updated version theme files. Where are the files released? Please advise.

AxumCreativeParticipantIn your previous post you gave directions as to how to change the “Recent Posts Heading” text. I have done this but I specifically want to remove the gray box and even text that says “Archives”. I would really like to insert an image in this area as default blog page. I just wanted to be specific and clear about what I am trying to do.
Thanks
AxumCreativeParticipant@skandha: Hi,
I have upgrade and installed the pro theme but do not see the option to remove the gray “archive” on my blog page for posts.

Please advise.
AxumCreativeParticipantI see, looks like I have to upgrade. But I need to figure out how to upgrade and not lose all the current work which is already done with the free theme. Any suggestions or instructions on this upgrading seamlessly?
thanks
March 24, 2020 at 12:41 pm in reply to: Feature image slider text vs image column adjustment #240190AxumCreativeParticipant@skandha Hey there,
Yes this worked. Thanks for your support.
March 23, 2020 at 11:03 pm in reply to: Feature image slider text vs image column adjustment #240088AxumCreativeParticipant@skandha is there a way where I can adjust the width or ration between the left (text side) and right (image side) columns?
AxumCreativeParticipant@skandha the only option I have is “disabled” or “post thumbnail 1060×596” there is no other option. Can you please tell me how I can get the option “original image size”?
Thanks
AxumCreativeParticipant@skandha I have spent the last 6 hours working with several sizes and I have discovered that the theme crops selected feature image from the middle (center focused) where it should instead display image from the top to middle of image or even further to bottom.
This happens in the featured image selection section of a page. See axumcreative.com/culture where you will see the top and bottom of image are missing. There is currently no way to reposition image during featured selection section or in the appearance customize section. I must be able to properly position a photo to display correctly and fully as a featured image on the page.
See all of these pages:
axumcreative.com/culture
axumcreative.com/identity
axumcreative.com/social-justice
axumcreative.com/entertainment
axumcreative.com/educationThis is a major problem how do I fix this?
AxumCreativeParticipantYes @skandha I stated in my original question that there are conflicts in information on website and in theme.
1. image sizes in px listed on theme instructions state: Slider Image: Width: 1920 Height: 1080 and in theme 1040 is listed as image size. 1080 seems to be breaking something.
2. when you look at identity slider image on my site axumcreative.com the full image is shown and on the actual page axumcreative.com/identity the “featured image” is 596×447 and does NOT display full image of 764×1040. Why does slider image show bigger image than on page? How do I fix?
AxumCreativeParticipantThanks for the line of code. It helped but I still would like to close the empty space between the text and photo. Please advise.
