I have paid for and downloaded Clean Journal Pro and the download shows up as “Clean Journal Pro”, not as a zip file. Then I dragged it into “Upload Theme” on WordPress. At first when I dragged the file to upload, the safari page came up with an error message, “Safari can’t open page”. Then I reloaded the page and it is just a blank screen with the question, “are you sure you want to do this?” but no button to click or anything. Also, the tab at the top says, “WordPress failure notice”. I tried to add the “.zip” ending to the name but the same things happened. My website says I’m running the Pro theme but I’m definitely not because I haven’t added it and I can’t do certain things like change the slider picture which I should be able to do with Pro. Thanks for the help.

@emautonomous: Which browser are you using it? Check your browser to see is it has auto zip extractor. If so then you can simply try using different browser or disable auto zip extractor in your browser. For example, if you want to disable auto zip extractor in Safari then try this https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1483114?start=0.
Another option is that, you can right click on the link and click on “Save Link As…” to dowload the zip file without auto extractor. See this screenshot https://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798333093154/
