To display thumbnail in search results you will need to create a child theme and do a little bit of cusomization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.

* I used to have it 5 years ago but don’t remember exactly what I’d done 🙁 new catch-box (and -pro) doesn’t work with old child theme, so I updated and made new child theme, everything is fine after some little modification, but these thumbnails.. need advice!

I use catch-box-pro (bought 2 days ago, used free version for a long time before), can send you link privately, but it’s almost standard WP 5.4.2 with your theme, search results don’t have thumbnail picture. Same was with catch-box (non pro), I fixed that somehow ~5 years ago but recent updates ruined my old modifications) It’s ok, but can’t figure out how to make it show this pics in search results again 🙂

To have thumbnails show up in Search results
Go to => Child Theme Folder => Create a file and name it content.php then add the code in this link.
