After following your previous directions to add a search function in the mobile menu that did NOT work, I deleted the code you had me add. Now I have NO WORKING SEARCH AT ALL ON EITHER DESKTOP OR MOBILE!!!  I’m tired of being ignored — this is critical for my site.

How do I get my search working again on both mobile and desktop?

    The website is https://explorationvacation.net

When I search for “duluth” it bounces back to the top of the current page (the page I entered the search term from) with a response that looks like this https://explorationvacation.net/?s=duluth

    HOW DO I FIX THIS??

@cindy:It appears that the search functionality on your site may be affected by a plugin issue. We inspected your site using the browser’s developer console and noticed several errors related to the plugin. Everything is functioning correctly on our end, so we recommend reviewing the plugin configuration or checking for conflicts or updates.

    Kind Regards,

Ah. The power of coincidence! Ok. I’ll do a check and see if something changed in a plugin that is causing it.

So, so, so sorry to have gotten frustrated with you all. I sat down and thought about what else might have had a major update at that time. Yup. Elementor took over my old accessibility plugin with something called Ally right about then. . . and destroyed my search function.

Thank you again and I am so sorry for getting upset with you. I’m going to be traveling for the next month, so was in full panic mode, but that is not a good excuse. But I think I would be within my rights to be mad at Ally!

I’ve stayed with Catch themes for years (and just used a free theme on a demo site for a club I’m in) because the customer service has always been so good and I like the theme I’m on. So thanks.

@cindy: No problem at all. We understand your situation and are pleased that you have identified the root cause of the issue. Thank you as always for supporting our theme and team. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

    Kind Regards,
    Sujapati
