Hi, I’m using the great, free Rock Star theme. All was fine originally, but now, the Home screen menu doesn’t close properly. It is especially evident when the site is viewed on a mobile. It’s as if the menu is transparent over the top of the site, but there are lines visible where the divider areas would be between the menu items. The site affected is http://mikefloodmusic.com . How can I correct this, please?

Can you try deactivating all your plugins and check if this resolves the issue? Also if you have added any additional CSS code try removing that for once and see if the issue is resolved.Let me know if the issue persists!
Kind Regards,

I’m not really a confident WordPresss user, so I don’t want to deactivate the plug-ins that are up-and-running ok. I did manage to create a child theme of Rockstar, which is what is in effect. All was working fine originally. The menu not disappearing is a new-ish thing that’s happened since. I haven’t installed any new plug-ins since all was working ok. Is there anything else I could try that’s less drastic, please?

Can you try activating the parent theme Rock Star and check if menu issue occurs in the parent theme as well?Kind Regards,

When I switch to ‘tablet’ or ‘mobile’ view, the menu just stays put and doesn’t retract/disappear at all. I’ve just noticed, in the ‘Themes’ area, though, there is this message which I’ve copied and pasted below. I can see the actual Rock Star theme listed, but only the Child theme shows as activated:
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete.

Child Theme For Rock Star The parent theme is missing. Please install the ” rock-star” parent theme.February 13, 2020 at 9:50 pm #236052musicmichael1Participant…actually, there’s a big gap in the name of the missing parent theme, like this (line represents the gap):
Name Description
Child Theme For Rock Star_______The parent theme is missing. Please install the “______rock-star” parent theme.February 13, 2020 at 11:42 pm #236080SkandhaParticipant@musicmichael1: Hello there,
