    Hi, guys!

I noticed something when I used the search box: $rarr;. I imagine this is supposed to be the arrow that points to the right?

    Here’s a screenshot: http://snag.gy/RZTMS.jpg

The comments arrow pointing down shows; but the Continue Reading arrow doesn’t show. Is there something I can add to the Custom CSS section to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Hi @andrewf90,

Yes → is supposed to be displayed as arrow. It is working fine on our server. It is working both in More Tag Text and Default Display Text in Search. No Custom CSS is necessary for this. Have you made any changes to the code?

    Let me know any further.

    Regards,
    Mahesh

Here’s a direct link to the page where I see it: https://goo.gl/e19BsD

I have made a few changes to the code through Custom CSS and two in the core files, which I know isn’t recommended. One was in page.php just to edit out comments and another was in search.php to add to the text when no results are found.

I can’t think of anything else. If there isn’t a solution, is there a way to change the $rarr; to ... or something else?

    Sorry for the trouble 🙁

    Hi @andrewf90,

It would be difficult for us to fix after code customization, and where actually the change is causing the trouble. For changing → to … you can go to “Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Excerpt / More Tag Settings” and replace → with … and click save.

I totally forgot that this section existed, and I didn’t even think this could be a place to control the arrow. It worked.

Thanks so much for your help! (again.) 😛
