Dear Support,

Image slider is not loading images and drops them out, they are web ready. Then tried images in grid feature and drops images again.

Any suggestions.

Please add in slider and let me know. Its not there currently.

Also, please try disabling all plugins and see if the issue occurs.

Hi Patik,

I’ve added in three images into the slider then selected feature image slider save and the images drop out. I’ve also disabled all plugins as suggested.

Its very odd as I use this theme with the same plugins and images.

I’ve put the images in another site using Fabulous Fluid and they are working fine in the slider.

Were would you like the images to be placed?

That is the problem. When I try and add the images into the slider the images appear then drop out when I save.

Hi Jennifer,

I checked your site and the issue is due to the ~ in your url http://103.37.8.110/~fremantl/. When securing the links what happens is the url with ~ is taken as malicious and removed, which in turn removes the image links. I removed the security exceptions and checked and the slider worked.

I cannot remove it from theme for obvious security reasons so when the site has live domain, it will work fine.

Hi Jennifer,

Strange though, maybe it something else than ~. Initially I thought that was the culprit. The functions used to clean url recognizes the url as span thats why it removes it.

Just tried to add int he other images and its dropped it out again. Perhaps I’ll change templates?

I have to re-add the security function as themes should not remove it. Your normal domain will work properly. The issue is with your temporary domain.
