Hi. When I use a hyperlink to point to https://wellnesswarriorsboston.org/support-worlds/ in a Google Doc, the preview image is not the page’s Featured Image. Instead of the “Send Us to Italy” image it shows an old “Send Us to France” image from another site (where it isn’t even the Featured Image).

    I have tried:

    • searching the page for the image (it isn’t anywhere on the page)
    • deleting the featured image and reinstating it.
    • using a different image format
    • deleting the image entirely
    • clearing the cache on WordPress and the WAP
    • clearing the cache on my computer and rebooting both my computer and the router
    • checking with someone else to see if they see what I see (they do)
    • adding a hyperlink to a new Google Doc and testing it there
    • clicking “update” in the Custom Fields/catchresponsive-featured-image field

I tested the Featured Image in the Featured Widget Content and the correct image appeared. It seems to just not work when I link to the page from elsewhere.

    Help?!

    Alice

    Hi Alice,

I don’t know why the Google Docs gave you the old image. It’s not the theme issue, it might be a cache or some plugin issue. When I check your site in Open Graph Text our og:image is https://wellnesswarriorsboston.org/wp-content/uploads/Send-us-to-Ravenna-Italy.png.

    Regards,
    Sakin
