Hello All,

I have checked your instructions and theme FAQs. The user Randall Hartman seems to have had the same issue but the solution was not included in the dialogue. I am using the latest theme version.

On my homepage beneath the featured slider I am using a single column layout. The image at the bottom of the column is replicated to the left of the column. The replicated image is a narrow centre crop at full page height.

When I go to customising>theme options>hero content, which is enabled on the homepage, the type is page, page is homepage. Using the content alignment button I can put the replicated image to the left or right of the column.

When I hover over the block it appears to be a hyperlink. Using Inspect element in the browser it is called the ‘cover link.

I am using Safari but get the same issue in a Chrome based browser and when using an In Private window.

The site is still being developed but I can send screenshots for clarification.

Hello Sakin,

Figured it out so to anybody out there who ever has the same problem try this;

Customise > Theme Options > Hero Content

There are 3 pull down menus, and my settings are as below;

Enable on = Homepage

Type = Page

And the option causing the issue …….

Page = Homepage

Changing it to -select- ie nothing, solves the problem.

Hello Gary,

Looks like on “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Hero Content”, you have Enabled Homepage and Selected the page “Homepage”. Then again in your Homepage setting on “Appearance => Customize => Homepage Settings”, you enabled “A static page” and selected the page “Homepage”.

So, in both Homepage Settings and Hero Content, you have selected Homepage and that is why it’s repeating. So, you need to either select different pages on these settings or you need to disable one of those sections “Hero Content” or “Homepage”.

If you want to disable the Static page on the homepage then you can go to “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Homepage / Frontpage Options” and disable “Recent Posts/Content on homepage”.

If you want to disable the Hero Content then you can go to “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Hero Content” and select “Disabled” on Enable on option.
