@ph3n1993: You can Disable the Header and Enable Featured Slider for that.

To disable Header Media
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Header Media => Enable On => Select Disabled

To enable Featured Slider
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Slider => Enable On

You seem to be using Elementor Plugin to build the site.
I don’t it will possible to increase the width that what is right now.

To remove the space below the content
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.elementor-25152 .elementor-element.elementor-element-46b34fb0 {
    padding: 0;
}
