Hi,
The content in my featured slider seems to constantly shift as it transitions from one post to the next. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Do I need to use only a certain character limit for excerpts?

@Kenneth: I see all your slider post have 3 lines of text. Which is fine and no need to change it. But look at the featured images of those posts have difference sizes.

Your 1st and 3rd posts featured image is fine with 644×320. Bur your 2nd and 4th is smaller with 600×320. So, it is showing issue. So, change the featured image of 2nd and 4th and it will be fine.

I made the sizing changes to the 2nd and 4th images. However, now it seems as though the first image is giving me problems.

Also I had to resize the images using an image editor (Photoshop). Is there anyway these sizing adjustments cant be manually done from within WordPress itself?

@Kenneth: Great I see that all is working fine now. If you upload the image larger then 644×320 then it will automatically crop into 644×320 but if that is smaller then it will just load the original small image.

Sorry don’t know about the editor in WordPress. You might need to check out plugins.

@Sakin: Everything looks good except for the post labeled “Why I don’t want Miles Morales to move to the 616 Marvel Universe” Is this because of the lines of txt?

@Kenneth: You can either decrease the excerpt text from “Appearance => Theme Options => Excerpt / More Tag Settings”. This will help you to increase or decrease the excerpt length for all posts.

But if you just want to change the excerpt for that particular post then you can edit that post and put the limited text in “Excerpt” box in that post. See this screenshot if you are confused with Excerpt box: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798330200958/
