Hello,
In my primary menu I have 4 links set up but when I click on the links, I am not taken to that section of the page.
– https://sloaneranger.com.au/#promotion-headline-section
– https://sloaneranger.com.au/#featured-content-section
– https://sloaneranger.com.au/#hero-content-section
– https://sloaneranger.com.au/#gallery-sectionThanks
March 24, 2019 at 11:57 pm #168604SkandhaParticipant@sloaneranger: Hello there,
I will look into the issue and get back to you soon.Kind Regards,
SkandhaApril 1, 2019 at 3:02 am #169071SkandhaParticipant@sloaneranger: Hello there,
For that you will need to use the id’s of a particular section.
The id’s for
Promotion Headline Section ->#promotion-section
Feature Content ->#featured-content-section
Gallery Section ->#gallery-content-section
Hero Content Section ->#hero-section
Let me know if this helps you out!
Kind Regards,

These anchors are different than to what is in Customiser:
Also in the box where I enter the link, do I need to put the whole URL i.e. https://sloaneranger.com.au/#featured-content-section or just the extension #featured-content-section?
Thanks
April 2, 2019 at 6:12 am #169141SkandhaParticipant@sloaneranger: There seems to be an issue with the anchor ids section in the customizer. I will look into the issue and try fixing it. Until then please use the #id’s I posted in the above reply.
Kind Regards,
SkandhaJune 18, 2019 at 12:16 pm #175223RodeBoyParticipantSkandha, the anchor ids section in the customizer is still not right …
What is the anchor id for the footer widgets section please? I need it for jazzjam.org.uk.
June 20, 2019 at 12:30 am #175313SkandhaParticipant@rodeboy: Hello there,
I checked your site and the anchor seems to be working fine. Is the issue resolved?Kind Regards,
SkandhaJune 20, 2019 at 10:35 am #175383RodeBoyParticipantHi Skandha, yes the link works as I identified an id from inspecting it. But I am having to use something different to that shown in the customizer. I was just pointing out that the issue you identified on 2nd April above still exists!
June 21, 2019 at 2:58 am #175427SkandhaParticipant@rodeboy: Hello Chris,
The anchor ids issue has finally been fixed and a theme update shall be released very soon. I will let you know when the update is released.Kind Regards,
SkandhaJune 21, 2019 at 5:36 am #175439RodeBoyParticipantThanks Skandha, can you let me know the correct anchor link for the footer where the contact form is on the site I mentioned please? I am currently using #section5, which as you say works, but if I add a section further up the page probably will not any longer!
June 23, 2019 at 9:22 am #175538SkandhaParticipant@rodeboy: Hello Chris,
For now you can use the id#colophon
to scroll to the contact section in the footer.Let me know if this works out!
Kind Regards,
SkandhaJune 24, 2019 at 6:59 am #175597RodeBoyParticipantUnfortunately not Skandha, so I have reverted back to #section5
June 25, 2019 at 12:08 am #175647SkandhaParticipant@rodeboy: Hello Chris,
The theme update has been released. Can you please update the theme and use the Anchor Id’s option and let me know if it is working properly.Kind Regards,
SkandhaJune 25, 2019 at 7:12 am #175667RodeBoyParticipantThanks Skandha. All the anchor links are now working fine. One small issue is that, for me, having arrived at the home page and then clicking the ABOUT US link in the menu whilst I am taken to the correct section I lose the menu along the top?!
June 26, 2019 at 3:20 am #175753SkandhaParticipant@rodeboy: Hello Chris,
I think this is due to the huge gap above the title and below the content of the Services section. As you click on About Us it tries to show the whole of the Service Section so the menu gets hidden at the top.Kind Regards,
SkandhaJune 26, 2019 at 7:09 am #175770RodeBoyParticipantHi Skandha, yes I agree that there is that huge gap. However there is no Additional CSS which generates that, so I guess it must come straight from the theme itself. Is there a way of adjusting it within the customise options?
Secondly if you click on ‘Musicians’ (the menu displays) then on ‘About Us’ the menu displays. So it is only when you come directly from the initial page load that the menu disappears. Strange! Any thoughts?
