WordPress 5.9 “Josephine”, the first major release of 2022 was released recently on January 25, 2022, with many big exciting changes and enhancements. And, we’re very happy to announce that Catch Themes is now WordPress 5.9 Ready!
As mentioned, the newly released WordPress version includes many crucial updates and changes. For instance, Full Site Editing, New Default Twenty Twenty-Two Theme, Navigation Block, Styles interface, Better Blocks Controls, Pattern Explorer, Enhanced List view, Updated Gallery Block, and many more.

Since the new version includes several major changes, it is sure that thousands of themes and plugins are not compatible and might bring issues to your website. So, we recommend that you do not run the update directly on your production site. Instead, consider setting up a test site to play around with the newest version first. And if everything seems fine for you then you can go to your main site.
