Biography
Born and raised in the beautiful city of Kathmandu in Nepal, I’m an entrepreneur, WordPress Developer and a web strategist. As a responsible Nepali citizen, I have made it a mission to do something significant for my country. My efforts are centered around helping various Nepali organizations in their new-age technical growth. Also, I am providing innovative and comprehensive management information technology solutions to entrepreneurs who are establishing new businesses.
WordPress Origin Story
In September 2010, I founded a web development company named Catch Internet Pvt. Ltd. where we developed customized WordPress sites for clients like Moguldum Media Group, Music Business Association, CleverClicks etc.
In June 2012, I contributed two free WordPress Themes (Simple Catch and Catch Box) and volunteered as a Theme Reviewer at WordPress.org. Following the high demands of these two free themes that consistently bagged the top 10 most popular positions in WordPress repository, I formally decided to establish CatchThemes.com. The idea was to continually offer an array of Free and Premium WordPress themes to users through a professional platform. Now, Catch Themes offers 9 free themes, 12 premium themes and 3 free plugins.
Currently, my active involvement is in WordPress Theme Review, Theme Development, Plugin Development, WordPress Translation, WordPress Nepal Community Development and Organizing WordPress Meetips and WordCamps in Nepal. I was also a Speaker at WordCamp Nepal (2012-2013-2014) and various other WordPress Meetups held time and again in Nepal.
