Critical error on activation

I installed the theme using the information on this link https://catchthemes.com/frequently-asked-questions/#question-installation-3 in the section 3.5.1 "Installation Using the WordPress Administration Panel from WordPress.org" but when I try to activate the theme all the website broke and I recive a critical error message on the screen. Is a full new website with php 8.2 and wordpress 6.4.1 without any plugins, just the theme. Am I missing something?
