WooCommerce Side Bar

I customized the layout Woocommerce Layout> Content, Primary Sidebar I put a SEARCH in the WooCommerce Primary Sidebar. When I view my page, the SEARCH bar is pushed down to the bottom of the content window. I am wondering how the WooCommerce Primary Sidebar is supposed to work?
