Widgets posted but not editable in customizer

I have four Featured Page widgets installed on my Mustang Pro Front Page. They are linked to Pages in the Navigation bar. When I go into the customizer it says there are no widgets installed. They are uneditable. And I don't can't find information on how to build out the pages they are linked to. This is stopping progress. Thanks for your help!
